Megan Weedon

Megan graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Human Movement Science. Teaching aerobics classes and personal training was her focus. She is married to a Buchanan City Commissioner, Mark Weedon. They have a blended family of 5 children, MaKayle, Madison, Alyssa, Benson and Caleb. Megan spent 14 years as a stay at home Mom due to Alyssa’s condition at birth and spending 9 weeks in the NICU at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Mark and Megan decided that when their youngest son Caleb, began kindergarten that she would need something to do during the day. Megan graduated from Lake Michigan College with an Associates Degree in Nursing, and became a Registered Nurse in July of 2019. She currently works as a Registered Nurse at Michiana Endoscopy Center.

Megan swam competitively for 10 years and loves to be in the water! That is where you will find her most of the time! Although Spin class, step class, Synergy and running are a few of her other favorite things to do!! Megan teaches the Aqua Cardio classes and also is a Certified Swim Lesson Instructor. She teaches swim lessons for all ages from toddler to older adult.
