AQUA Classes

H2O Mix
A fun and exciting way to enjoy a little of all of our Aquatic classes in one!  A workout for all levels that includes cardio, strengthening, balance, and a whole lot of smiling :)

H20 Bootcamp
Using the benefits of the water this class is a great full body workout! With constant concentration on core strengthening this class incorporates interval training, power drills, speed bursts, and strengthening exercises.  Participants work at high levels of intensity while having fun in this dynamic training.

Aqua Cardio
A low impact but high intensity water cardio class.  This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back. This program will be of particular benefit to runners and other active exercisers who are looking for a challenging workout as a no impact alternative to conditioning on land.

Fluid Movement
Fluid movement is a low- to moderate- intensity class that safely and effictively challenges the body's strength, range of motion,endurance, balance and flexibilty with excercises that are designed to be gentle on your joints. This class is perfect for those looking to improve ease of movements for day-to-day, functional activities.

Aqua Fit
Come join our experienced instructors in the pool for a full body workout using the natural resistance and buoyancy of the water. Use aqua dumbbells, kickboards, and pool noodles to help tighten and tone your body. Aqua Aerobics is fun and is proven to be an effective workout that is gentle on your body. No swimming is required and float belts are available.

Aqua Core
This 45 min class will be taught in the Lap Pool for safety and room for everyone to get a great workout in. We will use aqua equipment and our own bodies for a low impact cardio & strength building class.

Aqua Yoga
Aqua Yoga is a low impact form of yoga that is practiced in shallow water. A new and exciting modality for any yoga practice. Many students may find yoga on a mat somewhat limiting or frustrating, and may have difficulty getting into certain poses. Yoga in the pool is an amazing place to experience the many benefits of yoga.The feeling of weightlessness in the water takes the stress out of challenged joints and stabilizes them to free muscular tension and discomfort. Experienced yoga students are finding that they can take their practice to a whole new level by practicing familiar or new poses on a deeper level.

Aqua yoga strengthens and tones the body while relieving tension and renewing energy There are also added advantages of practicing in the water: Immersion in water assists the heart in venous return and pulmonary function. Something that the gravitational field in a land based class cannot offer. As water reduces the effects of gravity on the body, blood flows back to the heart with less effort resulting in a lower resting heart rate.

Swim Lessons
Lessons for all ages, from toddler to older adult.  Water acclamation, basic swimming skills, basic water safety/life-saving skills, and swimming stroke instruction. Ask about our Private Swim Lesson Packages.
